PCNW LinksTestimonialsThank you so much for my beautiful eyebrows. It has made such a big difference in my life and I am thrilled. Dear Judy,
This may sound silly but I want to thank you for choosing your profession. It is wonderful what you do for people like me. I have a new self-confidence. If only more women knew that they could have this done! It is a miracle. Thank you. Having no eyebrows is frustrating and makes you feel like you look ill. Thanks to my permanent brows, I no longer have to worry about that. I get up looking great. I don't know why I waited so long. Love my brows and it makes getting ready in the mornings so much faster. As a medical professional I need to look the part and never overdone. You have helped me achieve the perfect balance of polish and professionalism in permanent makeup. Dear Judy,
It is nearly 2 years since I walked into your office. At that time I was in a very difficult, longstanding situation with my family. As I spent every waking moment caring for the intense needs of my family, I heard numerous times from family and friends that I should "do something for myself. So I did. I came to see you.
I am half Norwegian and half Finn. I get the light coloring from my Nordic genes and my squinty eyes from my Mongolian side. I never wore much makeup but felt without it my eyes disappeared. If I went out without makeup, I always felt "unmade."
You, Judy, did an excellent consultation and very clearly outlined what you could do for me. As a registered nurse, I was impressed by your safety concerns and your sterile procedures. I knew I would be in good hands. I returned to your office to have my eyes outlined in a custom-color you helped me choose.
The outcome was better than I had even dared hoped. I awaken in the morning and know when I turn to look at my wonderful husband, he can see my eyes! I can shower, dry my hair and dash out the door and feel comfortable. I love looking in the mirror and seeing myself with eyes that for the first time in my life stand out. When I choose to put makeup on, the effect is doubled.
Thank you, Judy. I wold recommend you kind and expert professional service to anyone. |
Oh, that looks painful! I kind of want to ask her if it’s worth it though. My best friend has some tattoos (none are of the “permanent cosmetics” variety) and her skin always has to heal afterwords. That;s gotta be weird if it does that to your eyelids, so I kind of wish I could ask this lady how it went after. Does anyone out there have that kind of info?
I have been doing permanent eyeliner since 1987 and only ever had one client ask me to stop before we got started. The eyelid takes the topical anesthetic well and clients find it perhaps annoying but quite tolerable. Everyone has different levels of sensation so while some may say it tickles others comment more that it is a feeling of vibration. The secret is in the technique used by the person doing the service. The skin must be held taunt and there is an art and science with the use of the device. Normally there is minimal redness and it feels as if you have been crying. Anytime you create a wound on the skin whether it is nicks from shaving your legs or the minor wound from permanent cosmetics there is a healing process. Normally the skin looks back to normal in less than one week although redness or irritation is usually gone in a day. Large body art can certainly take longer than this to resolve depending on the client’s skin and the area where the tattoo is placed.
and as you know those irritate the skin less than many other techniques.
Other factors that can affect sensation are the width of the eyeliner – the wider the liner desired, the more discomfort, the health of the client, quality of the skin, and individual sensitivities. Oh and Keely, I use a Nouveau Contour device
